Every Child Has a Voice
I’m here to help your child find their voice, spoken or non-spoken, and share it with the world. Through tailored, compassionate support, I guide children in building confidence, expressing themselves, and connecting with others in ways that are meaningful to them. Whether your child uses speech, gesture, AAC, or a combination, I’ll walk alongside you at every step of the journey.
About Me…
Hello, I’m Emma. I am a fully qualified, HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist and Certified Member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (CertMRCSLT) with experience in clinics, mainstream schools, and specialist settings. I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Speech and Language Therapy from the University of East Anglia. I support families across Swindon and the wider area* (up to 40 miles), while also working within South Oxfordshire schools in the NHS as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist.
My particular interests include supporting social communication needs and AAC users. I have experience working with both low- and high-tech communication systems, including GRID from my NHS practice. I use aided language stimulation in my work and take a neurodiversity-affirming, child-led and sensory-aware approach to supporting communication. Where appropriate, I draw on relevant AAC systems and collaborate with families and settings to support access to suitable communication tools. I am currently completing my PACT (Paediatric Autism Communication Therapy) certification.
